At some point in lifes journey we all face challenges and trials. It is truly how we apply ourselves during testing times that show the measure of our faith, and belief system.

What I have learnt over the many years as a person who has tried to walk in faith, is that I have to get dressed daily in the armour that strengthens me to face each day. While some days are just easier than others, I have found that in most days I need to be dressed and ready for the day ahead.

I have a sign on the inside of my exit doors at home, and it reads:

Are you dressed for this day:

Do you have your shoes of peace, your belt of truth, your chest plate of righteousness, your shield of faith, your helmet of salvation and your sword (the written word of God). If you can get dressed for this day with what God has already given to you, then you will be able to face this day. Putting on this armour of God, and knowing that this battle was already won by the innocent blood of Jesus Christ, this is the only way to face each day and simply conquor the spiritual warfare that tries to dismount you daily. Get dressed and ready for today, because you are not going to be the victim, you will go to battle in your crisis, and become the victor that God has already made you.
